Pausely collects no data about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Pausely sends nothing you enter anywhere — it has no server to send it to.

This policy is short because there is very little to describe.

What Pausely stores on your device

Pausely keeps the following in its own storage area on your iPhone:

That is the whole list. It is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone, because there is nowhere for it to go — Pausely has no server and makes no network connection other than to Apple's own App Store for the one-off purchase.

Someone else's phone number

Some of what Pausely stores is personal information about another person: your cleaner's name and number, for example. It is worth being explicit about that.

Those details stay on your iPhone. Pausely never transmits them, never uses them for anything except addressing the message you are about to send, and never contacts anyone on its own. Keeping a helper's number is no different from keeping it in your phone's own contacts — Pausely simply keeps it alongside their visit day so it can write the message for you.

Messages

Pausely does not send messages. It fills in the standard Apple Messages sheet, and you press send.

That means the message travels exactly as any text you type yourself does: through iMessage or your mobile network, handled by Apple or your carrier under their own terms. Pausely has no copy of it in transit, no ability to send anything without you, and no way of knowing what happens to it afterwards.

Pausely cannot see replies. iOS gives apps no access to your messages at all, so Pausely cannot tell whether a message was delivered, read, or answered. When a helper replies, you mark it confirmed yourself, and the app records only that you marked it.

Contacts

Pausely does not have access to your contacts, and does not ask for it.

When you choose a helper from your contacts, iOS shows you its own picker, which runs outside the app. Only the one person you tap is handed back. Pausely never sees the rest of your address book, and there is no Contacts permission prompt because none is needed.
